Mamta Kalia receives Sahitya Akademi award

We congratulate our author Prof. Mamta Kalia on her richly-deserved Sahitya Akademi award. Fifty years ago, she published two books of poems with us: Tribute to Papa and Other Poems and Poems ’78, that have become classics of Indian writing in English. Her photo alongside comes from that time, printed in our authoritative anthology, Modern Indian Poetry in English.
