We are saddened by the untimely passing of Amreeta Sen (née Syam). She lived in Kolkata, where she did her schooling from Loreto House, and her graduation and Master’s in History from Jadavpur University, specialising in ancient India. She wrote for several journals and magazines and worked as a sub-editor with The Statesman.
