Dr. Bhattacharya writes about this book: “This is a bilingual book, containing each poem in two versions: Bengali and English. In most of the cases, the poems were first written in Bengali and then either translated or transcreated in English by the poet or by various distinguished translators from various walks of life, whose bio-data have been included. In some cases, however, the poems were first written in English and then transcreated in Bengali by the poet.”
Apart from the author, the other translators are Rajlakshmee Debee, Shyamasree Lal, Arati Ganguli, Marian Maddern, Debjani Chatterjee, Aditya Bhattacharjee, Sabyasachi Bagchi, Atri Bhattacharya, Srinjay Chakravarti and Joe Winter.
