Overthinking
One day you’ll realize
I’m not worth it,
And leave.
I know that day
Will come.
Soon.
And maybe then
I’ll stop picking
Bougainvilleas
On my way home;
Come. Lie down.
Not leave the room
For a week.
And that will be the end of me.
