Dots of Light

Dots of light
converge in one sun –
the golden ball of love.
Desires emerge
from narrow lanes of the mind,
Meeting on the main road –
the heart,
all coincide in the tiny cameo.
The buoyant waters
spurt out
into fountains of silver spray
moistening the arid vessels
devoid of blood.
A journey from rotis to roses,
roses to fragrances,
now the appetite for just a spark.
