Molten

There are thoughts,
that you scoop out of yourself,
leaving behind gnawing a cavity,
and some others
that you tuck off to sleep.
It is those few moments,
by the left side window seat of a local bus;
a gentle gush of wind;
a strand of hair tickling your eyebrow;
that melt you
into a certain anonymity.
Only
those gnawing cavities
and waking thoughts
attempt to live
with a certain significant other.
