About the Translator:
Dr Seemita Mohanty is an Associate Professor in English in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, Odisha. Her research interests include Indian English literature, English Language Teaching and Linguistics. She has published one book of criticism, A Critical Analysis of Vikram Seth’s Poetry and Fiction (2007) and regularly translates from Odia into English. She is a recipient of the Homi Bhabha Fellowship, awarded by the Homi Bhabha Fellowships Council, Mumbai.
