Crossroads
Larger than life, dreams have come to stay, and have acquired a shape,
as an intrinsic part of me, of my stirrings, from which there is no escape,
If for every action, there has to be a reaction, why wait for a cause?
to belittle, to demean, any endeavor all the time, endlessly without a pause.
On which crossroads did I not look, to see whether you had come to stay,
as one of my hopes, half forgotten, half lost, not quite stifled yet, on the way.
Perhaps, someday, when things appear not so bleak, and I am feeling a bit stronger,
I shall come to you, around the bend, so that I am not kept waiting, any longer.
