About the Author:
K Pankajam was born in the Manalur village of Trichur, Kerala. She is a bilingual writer and also translates from Malayalam to English. She has published two volumes of poetry, Look Beyond (Yeti Books, Calicut) in 2006 and Echoes (Window Publishers, Chennai) in 2009. She is also the author of Ormakalude Thiranottam, a Malayalam work of fiction published in 2012. Her work of fiction in English, Beads of Memories is expected to be published shortly. She lives in Chennai.

Imagine;
The dark walls of the night

endless songs

cool feathers

gift wings to float
