Or were they just prattlers
happiest when prattling
in stentorian
voices?
Is it the establishment
that employs men who are
uncomfortable
with silence?
Or is it in the Indian psyche
to shun silence
and revel
in noise?
I wondered when
we would
learn
to appreciate art.
