About the Book:
Kora is a multi-generation, inter-continental romance that moves between India, England, Tibet and the United States. The political events of the 1950s that led to the invasion of Tibet, the Dalai Lama’s escape to India and the border war fought with China in 1962 play a prominent role in the novel as we see how these developments influenced the lives and relationships of the characters.
