About the Editors:
Born in 1930, K. R. N. Swamy has been a prolific freelance writer, specializing in India’s historical heritage since the 1950s. He has published two other books with Writers Workshop, India – After Ambassadors, Before Dukes and The Mughal Peacock Throne. His Mughals, Maharajas and the Mahatma was published by HarperCollins in 1997 to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Indian Independence. All these books exemplify Swamy’s meticulous research in the national libraries of India, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.

Born in 1961, Meera Ravi comes from a background where writing and journalism have been a family tradition for three generations. She began her writing career as a teenager, has considerable experience as an international correspondent and, at present, works as Deputy News Editor with the Bahrain Tribune.
